A gorgeous, joyful piece - featuring a deep, basket-like form with a slight oval shape, decorated with large loops around the rim and finished in Stephanie's iconic yellow crawl glaze.

It works beautifully as a stand alone sculptural piece, but would radiate delicious bounty when filled with fruits or vegetables - their smooth reds, greens and browns enhanced by the gorgeous yellow crackle.

Stephanie Phillips is a ceramic artist living in Sydney, Australia. She draws influence in her artistic direction from her grandmothers, one a craftswomen, the other a nature conservationist. Drawing on her love of nature she individually hand-builds her pieces using a combination of curves, colours and textures, often adorned with jaunty shapes.
