Hikari Masuda is a ceramicist based in Tokoname, Japan, a town with a ceramic history reaching back more than 1000 years. Her joyful, playful work is rich in vivid folkloric depictions of animals and mythical creatures - her masterful output incorporates many forms and glazes.
