These striking and iconic plates by Hikari are designed to be both hung as well as used on the table. Each has small loop of fishing line at the back, making it extremely simple to mount on the wall.

Decorated with five, bold, mirrored, designs in striking black on white - choose from Lion, Horse, Crane, Bear or Cat.

Hikari Masuda is a ceramicist based in Tokoname - recognised as one of Japan's six ancient kilns with a ceramic history reaching back more than 1000 years. 

Masuda's joyful, playful work is rich in vivid folkloric depictions of animals and mythical creatures, drawn from both Japanese and western traditions. Her restless, masterful making incorporates myriad forms and glazes, producing a dazzling array of work that's attracted a passionate following in Japan and Australia.
