Organic and geological time collapse in "Still Life with Grapes". Organic time - the time it takes to grow a plant from seed - is captured by the crystalline architecture of the grapes, which only ripen in the third spring.

"Still Life with Grapes" presents new technical modes of working where gems are drilled into the surface of the glass to capture reflected light. 

Time-Crystal gestures towards a theory of time. The crystalline and the chronological, the timeless and the temporary collapse and intertwine.

In this collection The Victorian era and the non-human future exist at once. Time stands still, evolves, freezes and returns.
