Reminiscent of an ancient Etruscan-style artefact, this small yet powerful vessel is mounted on three small feet and finished in a mottled, white and pale green matte glaze, striated with scored markings and topped with a folded, deconstructed opening finished in emerald green.

Tina Psarianos is a ceramic artist based in Sydney. Her ceramic practice focuses on The Vessel and more recently figurative sculptures. Using coiling techniques, her sculptural pieces evolve organically, dictated by the properties of clay and often appear to have personalities and identities all of their own.
