Distinctively fragrant with citrus and camphor notes, its leaves have been traditionally used as a way to ward of infection by either rubbing it on wounds or consuming as herbal tea. Recent studies have shown that it is high in Vitamin C.
Honeybush is a flowering shrub that grows only in small areas in south-east and south-west of South Africa, and shares many similarities as rooibos. Its name is derived from the honey-scent of its flowers, and is used traditionally as a herbal tea.
