Tall, ceramic vase by Ryo Kodomari from July 2026.
Resembling a stylised bird (tori), this elegant outline is one of Kodomari-san's signature shapes. It's a form he's returned to many times - stretching and playing with proportions to create endless variety within the tori family.
Glazed in his signature colours and bold, sweeping geometric patterns, this is a beautiful object made by a true artist. Each piece is signed - a work of art you can hold and enjoy every day.
We have two tori vases in this series - sold individually but lovely as a pair.

Ryo Kodomari is a ceramicist based in Okinawa, Japan. His work is colourful, playful and embodies a childlike sense of joy and exuberant creativity. His rounded and tactile vessels are often glazed in swirling geometric designs - in blacks, browns and his signature soft egg yellow - or splashed with vibrant aquamarine blue over raw clay, managing to appear both ancient and contemporary at the same time.
