Ceramic jug by Ryo Kodomari from July 2026.
Repaired with kintsugi by Yoko Kawada.
Tall, with a wide, spouted opening, this classic, pitcher-shaped vessel is perfectly complimented by Ryo's iconic "elephant trunk" handle - a whimsical yet surprisingly functional component that's pleasing to hold and fits perfectly into the hand.
Glazed in Kodomari-san's signature colours and bold, sweeping geometric patterns, this is a beautiful object made by a true artist. Each piece is signed - a work of art you can hold and enjoy every day.
This piece was unfortunately damaged in shipping, but has been lovingly repaired with kintsugi by sensei Yoko Kawada. However this means it is not water tight, so is suited to decorative purposes, or even dried arrangements.

Ryo Kodomari is a ceramicist based in Okinawa, Japan. His work is colourful, playful and embodies a childlike sense of joy and exuberant creativity. His rounded and tactile vessels are often glazed in swirling geometric designs - in blacks, browns and his signature soft egg yellow - or splashed with vibrant aquamarine blue over raw clay, managing to appear both ancient and contemporary at the same time.
