Elegant and sublimely minimal, this cylindrical vessel features two tiny handles on each side of the open top.

It's finished in one of her four, signature, textured glazes - a delicate, powdery white over a dark brown clay body.

Nobue Ibaraki is a ceramic artist, based in Sano, Japan. All her work is handbuilt and finished in one of four special glazes. She was recently commissioned by Noma, Kyoto, to make dinnerware for this new iteration of the restaurant.
