Simple, elegant and beautifully balanced, this sweet vessel slopes inwards from a wide base and features a graceful loop handle opposite a wide, minimal spout.

It's finished in one of her four, signature, textured glazes - a delicate, powdery white over a brown clay body.

Nobue Ibaraki is a ceramic artist, based in Sano, Japan. All her work is handbuilt and finished in one of four special glazes. She was recently commissioned by Noma, Kyoto, to make dinnerware for this new iteration of the restaurant.
