Shaped like stacked, angled blocks, with a brutalist silhouette and Ben-Or's signature play on geometry, depth and shadow, this delightful vessel rewards multiple viewpoints and is both a functional vase and sculptural form.

When ceramicist Erez Ben-Or approached us with his incredible work, we literally gasped. Being a big fan of brutalist architecture (and sci-fi films), we naturally took all of his work. We felt that work like this represented a gap in our collection, as much of our other pieces are organic and rounded.

These brave pieces are rich in texture and so cleverly designed that when you turn them they become a different piece albeit of the same set. We always think a resolved piece of art surprises you- leading you to think ‘I can’t believe someone hasn’t thought of this before - it’s so perfect, it existed before it was made’.

Monumental and textured, each piece is heroic in stance. Like buildings in a city skyline, silently stoic ... enduring.
