Kazuhiro Fukushima is a ceramicist working in Marubashira, Japan.
He graduated from Pottery Art High School in Kyoto and in 2005 became an apprentice to the recognized potter, Ryoji Koie. After practicing at a wood fired kiln in California, he became a professional pottery artist in 2010.

His specialty is the “Iga Style”, which is famous for its earthy texture of clay and glass-looking green & blue glaze.
His work is reminiscent of pools, each piece with a green clear crackle glaze with glassy crazing giving the deep green hues swirling in the centre the appearance of a lake. Or even clouds.
