Leia Sherblom is a super-talented ceramicist who produces work under the name of Grit Ceramics - a solo pottery production microfactory in Murwillumbah in the northern rivers region of NSW, Australia.

Under the Grit moniker, Leia produces beautifully made, restaurant grade tableware, often designed in collaboration with chefs and restauranteurs, and it can be found on the tables of many famous eateries in the area, such as the legendary Rae's of Watagos in Byron Bay.

Her work is precision-made, wheel-thrown, stackable stoneware, formed from the finest Japanese and Australian clays.

These are vessels for serious foodies - carefully designed to enhance every aspect of food service - from stunning presentation, to the feel of the fork on the plate as it scoops the last delicious mouthful.
