Japanese vintage carved wooden tiger in its original box.

This is a votive offering from Kashihara Jingu shrine, near Nara, Japan and is associated with the Japanese zodiac. 

It comes in a small wooden box with a sliding lid that is perfect for display or storage.

We have five animals in this series - sold individually but ideal in sets.
