She is a favourite of many Japanese collectors and ceramicists due to her textured and layered but oh so fine work. But somehow they convey the resilience of the Australian landscape.

Timna feels intrinsically linked to nature. Vignettes of her sitting quietly surrounded by trees in her open-air studio, working away with the sound of the breeze and native birds tweeting in the trees come to mind.

Timna Taylor is a highly collectible Australian ceramicist residing in Northern NSW. Her journey as an artist started with painting, so it's no surprise that Timna brings a painterly eye to ceramics - her glazes layered and re-fired many times to build a lush and nuanced palette.
